Sharon Tom

Sharon Tom was raised in Carrollton, TX, and is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with minors in Economics and Chinese. Sharon was a BBA Scholar and was awarded the President’s Scholarship at SMU – the highest academic merit award given by the University. During her time at SMU, she was active on campus and served as the Chair of the Asian American Leadership and Educational Conference (AALEC) and the President of the East Asian Student Association (EASA). In addition, she was active in Asian Council, was part of the Emerging Leaders Program, and studied abroad in Beijing, China and Paris, France. After graduating from SMU, Sharon attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received a Masters in Professional Accounting. Sharon currently works at Ernst & Young, LLP in Dallas, TX as an Assurance Associate. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time with her husband, family, friends and Meatball (her Yorkie).
