Thoa Nguyen is an Austin, Texas-based art director, designer, and painter for a variety of media and spaces. She has a background rooted in fine arts and communications (film production), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Radio/Television/Film from The University of Texas at Austin’s Moody College of Communication. The breadth of her work includes: production designing and dressing film sets, designing a high-end shop window display, painting theatrical scenery, digital art/graphic design, and traditional studio art painting. She is constantly in pursuit of growing as an artist and working on socially conscious projects whenever possible. She believes that as a species, we all have something to contribute for building a more compassionate world. Thoa is a former ATG Artistic Scholarship Winner and joins the Light of Day production team as an Artist and Production Assistant.
