41-year-old Anh Reiss has been diagnosed with a very rare type of leukemia called myelodysplastic syndrome, or MDS. Seven million Americans have signed up to be potential donors but of those registered with the National Marrow Donor Program, only 15,000 are of Vietnamese heritage, which is crucial in finding a match.
