“Two devastating earthquakes in Nepal have claimed more than 8,000 lives and destroyed countless homes. Children face an unprecedented emotional toll as they deal with the devastating consequences — and with 5,000 schools damaged or destroyed, more than 1 million are without classrooms. UNICEF is on the ground working to reach 1.7 million children and their families with critical aid. Out of every dollar spent, 90.2 cents goes toward helping children.”
